Sedín Golf Resort is a project of a Golf Course and Golf Academy on more than 120 hectares of land owned by the investor, which is a FPD subsidiary. Located in Veľké Úľany, south-west Slovakia, the Resort comprises one 18-hole Championship golf course (100 hectatres) and one 6-hole golf course for the Golf Academy, supplemented with club house accommodation, fitness & wellness area and a restaurant. The diversified landscape allows for tracks located in the forest area, as well as in the water and field areas, without any significant height difference. The Golf Academy spreads on more than 6 hectares of land, completed with 280 m long driving range, chip and pitch area, putting green and 3-par training tracks.
The Academy providing the overall service from the beginners courses to one-on-one with golf specialists. The Youth Centre, aiming its focus on the young talents, is also a part of the Golf Academy. The development was set in two phases, where in the first phase a golf course, training areas and basic support facilities were built for approximately 5 Million EUR.
The opening ceremony of the Resort was in April 2017. The second phase will commence in a couple of years' time and will feature building a Golf Club House and a Water Sports Centre, which will be found directly at the lakeside.
